That's right finally I'm starting to feel the voices. (Hopefully they are not just in my head). Anyway I highly recommend reading throughout the manual and taking it out with you! I know Guys don't read manuals! get rid of that idea as soon as you can.

Also dig it all for a while it helps alot with the language.

With what I've learned this week the T2 is in the running with the GTI now, Since I've learned the pinpoint my finds are getting quicker and quicker, and easily on target!

That helped a lot!

Anyway feeling better and better the more I use it!

Now who has got a great plan or idea for the backlight! Anyone know if a backlight can be added behind the screen into the circuit board or not?

I've got lights...but I'd like to see the screen at night also so any idea's are appreciated here???

Hi KCK,
Hows that wireless system working out for you on the T-2? I have a T-2 coming and am considering a wireless set up as well. Curious for any feedback you have.
Regards,
Bill

I was trying to find out who it was but lost the link somehow. Anyway It's a freedom that once you try it and get it working for you you won't ever want to do without it.
It's just too nice not to be bound by the wires.

I'm thinking there's a lot of systems out there. The FM systems ...I use them but it's not my preference as I have to keep resetting it due to loss of signals! Why this happens I'm not sure. I think it's a problem with the transmitter.

I also reworked a infared RCA wireless model to work on a nine volt battery. The transformer changes the voltage from 120 Volts to 12 volts. It's close enough that a 9 volt battery will do the job and it works flawlessly. But batteries are an issue so you'd want to use rechargables.....I only get about two hours run time out of one 9 volt battery.
But it is 2 hours of nice wireless hunting! Very nice RCA head phones ...they are lite and have great sound!

My new choice of preference will be Bluetooth. I want to pick up a transmitter and blue tooth reciever...I got a feeling this is the wave of the future for Detectors that want that wireless freedom. Plus I'm trying to develope a way to not bluetooth the detector but the pinpointer as well through the same reciever? Time will tell!

Till we get to detect...Take care!
KCK
