The T-2 Passed the Test

I took the T-2 to a site that has been hunted for over 30 years...This place has seen everything from a CW encampment to church socials... The area is approximately an 3/4 acre that is fenced in...Anyway, ever new machine I get, I take there to check it out....Fines are very few and those finds, you have to work hard for....Lots and lots of iron and hot rocks....
Ground balanced the T-2 in Disc....Disc. at 10...Tone ID on 4, sensitivity at 90... Took it slow and within 5 minutes got a signal that was high pitch with a iron sound mixed in...shortened the sweep much like the method used with the Minelabs(not suggested by manual)...was able to seperate the 2 targets... good clean audio but not really loud... 1898 IH at 9"... Within another 5 minutes, got a loud high pitch ID, 8 inches, no target, 10 inches, no target but a root, cut the root out and at about 13 inches a woman's brooch, 1 1/2 inches long an about a 1/2 wide, brass with a silver looking paint on the side that was facing down..I do not know how this was missed before....The detector hit hard on this target at that depth.....
1: Good Target Seperation in the trash.... 2:Exceptional Depth
3: Great Audio Response to Deep Target 4: Gotta love the weight
Too, went a few minutes a couple of days back and got more brass at good depths, a small eagle cuff button at about 7-8 inches...This is a keeper.....Best to all, RichardnTn

Now come on you guys know I deserve and answer...now, don't you? hehehe

move it quickly within a 1-2 inch wide sweep....the processor will only use the info that you are getting from the target under the 2" swipe...Works good in trash and helps on the mixed-audio of the T-2..
As big as this coil is, it works great in the trash and iron....Best to you, Richardntn

21st. century. Those two are oldies but goodies but won't match todays models. Your elbow must be killing you. The T2 rocks . The 1980's only roll!

Your the man Richard!....What I have learned has been on my own. I am a Old Veteran detectorist 8 years, never read to much, just enjoyed keeping it simple for myself.... But I am so glad and blessed to have found you guys and gals out there who are willing to share your knowledge with me. I've improved so much over the last year with simple little tips that I knew nothing about.

The first great find this year will be dedicated to you bro, for that little bit of information will take away some of the frustration. For that I am very appreciative in advance.

KCK & Digger too!
