and our Celtic tradition starts to celebrate this event, parties with bonfires where they burn the lumber to start a "new life" ...:nopity::cheers::hot::beers::inlove: Es la locura!!!
When this time comes, when the day is a child who does not want to go to bed and night long in coming I like being away from home or work to enjoy it. Here is normal cloudy sky and hard to see a beautiful sunset, besides my work usually ends at 10pm so I usually go home at night ...
Yesterday was the day less appropriate to go to detect, there have been many people on the beach and the tide was high at 21.00 but the sunset was a great temptation.
I convinced the woman "contrary" lol and I left for "my" favorite beach. Fifteen minutes and five car preparation and jump into the arena.

I do not like anything ... uncommon a dead fish in the sand ....
I made a winding route along the beach, a walk in "S" trying to cover a lot of ground and go early to home, there were only gone for the sunset and just picked up a coin from

You got the right celebration and some detecting that's a positive.
Here it only means eventually back to winter.

I think the translator has betrayed me, I wanted to say that the solstice is here, for us begins the summer, harvest and everything nice ... is so far the winter ...:)

Nice scenery pictures of the beach and bonfire!! Good finds on the coins too!! I always enjoy your posts, I like seeing other countries. very nice place!!

Great Odins Ghost! Those beach bonfires are wonderful hunting areas! Unfortunately, theres alos a lot of melted scrap metal from all the drinking cans and bottle tops as well, but anyplace people are drinking and running around in the dark is good hunting for us! Wonderful! to see a large group of people outside and having fun! Too bad it does not happen the whole year around!

Thank you guys!
The magical evening will be that of the 23/24 Night of San Juan, hundreds of thousands (literally) will light bonfires throughout Spain, from north to south ... is a large magical night ... good memories ... and where you lose all :inlove:heh heh heh !!
I study a possible hunting
best regards

Nice finds and photos. After all those bonfires the 23/24, lots of coins and jewelry will be waiting on you. Back in the early 1950's our church used to have small bonfires and roast hotdogs and marshmellows and they were some great times. I used to go to some bonfires at the beach in my mid-20's but too much drinking and fighting all the time. Glad you and the other half got to do some metal detecting and had a great time. HH.

Happy Solstice to you, Senda! No wonder you find so many beautiful early coins - they're from Solstice celebrations gone by!
