I had some obligations to take care of this am, so I could only hunt for a couple of hours. I was close to a park that some of my friends had hunted with Explorers and I had hunted many times in the past. I had only found wheat pennies here and my Ex friends had found the same. I found a couple of nickles and was losing interest fast when I got a weak repeatble signal. This park is pretty trashy and I again had a hard time isolating the target in pinpoint, but with some patience, I got it pinpointed. From 7 or 8 inches comes a 1917 merc that was almost black, but in good condition. No Barber, but a good find none the less. A few minutes later, I get a very faint one way signal that wouldn't even move the needle from the 8 inch rest and the audio was very, very faint. From 9 inches comes a cruddy copper. I thought it was a wheat penny, but when I got home, it was a 1899 IH. I got some bouncing tones that I doubt that I could hear if not for the great phones I use. Not a bad hour and a half hunt. Tomorrow, I am going back to where I have found all the Barbers. HH R.L.
