Went out wading again with the 70 this morning. Planning on only a short hunt I gave it up after about an hour of wading the shallows at the public access I mentioned before. There were few targets to be found. Fortunately, on the way to the car I decided to make one pass directly out from the boat ramp. Eureka!!!

I have seen guys post about finding stuff out from the boat ramps but never had any luck before today. <p><center>14K sz 8.5 13.6 grams with baguettes<center>[attachment 33347 14kbling.jp

Thanks for sharing and posting the pictures.

This morning I went back to the site where I found the silver and token a few days ago and only found one penny...but lots of tabs and other trash. What a difference one week can make! Well, this just tells me that I am one day closer to having a good day again. Kelley (Texas) :)

the bottom changes back and forth from sand to clay there so I let it track. Don't know if it was a fresh drop or not but it came up in the first scoop. Found in deep sand furrowed by the props from the boats going in an out.

I sure wish some others would start posting finds. Even though I don't always post to them I sure enjoy looking at others.

Hope you get some rain down there to help out the T'hunting. My sis in law is from the Brownsville area originally. Her dad was a US Marshall.

Very nice find, Tom. And I sure agree with Kelley that your posts are an inspiration, particularly to us new X70 owners still learning the ropes.
