Workin on my latest .. Cut the v mount off the bottom of the meter..Machined a piece of aluminum to fit in the end of the handle to mount the meter.. Mounted the pinpoint switch in my usual position.. Still have to run the pinpoint switch wire & rescale the meter. wildherre

I was wondering about mounting the meter on the handle. This looks like a great place for it.
Karen is making a chest mount bag and harness from ballistic nylon (waterproof Cordura). It will have a velcro attachment to attach the meter to the bag...but I like this more.
I also started thinking about the toggle boots. If sand getting into the switches is bad, what about sand entering the speaker? I went to the local gun shop and got some round adhesive target stickers. I stuck one right over the speaker, completely sealing it. Seems to be an easy solution.
