I took the Vaquero out for the first hunt of the year. Pleasant surprise with the 1866 Indian head note the iron rust rust stuck to it and the weird unidentifiable object along with it.
 
Weather has been great here too .Nice indian head . That other gizmo , I dont have clue what it is .. Was the penny found with it .
 
The iron piece looks like a curry comb. I would say mid to late 1800s style. They were used to brush out horses to remove loose hair and briers. Nice finds!
