Nice pics max, looks like toddy still has his kilt on if it wasn't for the last photp

I have a question, why do they close the beaches? over this side of the pond i've never seen that happen come what may weather wise

@ toddy, what happened to the web site? beachdetecting.co.uk
enjoy your hols

Nice photos and finds, but I've got to tell you that I'm impressed by the castle those two girls are building. They put a lot of work into something that will get washed out when the tide comes in or the next time it rains.

We close the beaches for lightning. Had a few fatalities in the last 30 years I've been working here. One of them went toward my not so enviable record of Oh for Seven in CPR.

Hi Kered

due to commitments I had to put any plans I had to build or update sites on the back burner. I have not updated my website either but I will look into it soon mate.

These are the best contributions on the forum. I look forwards to seeing the pictures which are always tremendous. They really make you want to go to the beach! I'm heading to Myrtle Beach in five weeks with my brand new Excal! I can't wait!

Thanks for that VBdave, was just curious, although i'm surprised with having so many tall buildings close by that it could cause problems on the sand.

@ Cheers Toddy, looking forward to it, if i can help in any way let me know, being retired i have more time

great post as usual max. there should be a little more bling in the lane as i am home in pa now. dont know what im gonna do when i wake up tommorow and feel like taking a spin .no ocean in pa. cant beleive i missed those sand castles. it was a pleasure meeting you and many of the other pirates in the lane .
