The river that keeps on giving.

Hit the river Wednesday and got there late and had to leave early. The 5 X 8 doesn't cover as much ground as the 8.5 X 11, but keeps finding the small jewelry for me. Found a bell shaped ear ring, no markings. Found another odd shaped ear ring with a stone, that fell out while I was showing it to Mama at her house. Thinks it's real, but got to test and glad it didn't fall out at the river. Found what looks like a pearl ear ring, but don't know how to tell real pearl from synthetic. A button that is very light in weight and feels like plastic, but the coils says it's metal. Some type of bracket on the end of the other ear rings, but don't know what it is. 3 dimes, 2 nickels & 9 pennies.
A stone in the hand is worth two in the bush. lol

rub the pearl on your clean teeth. should be gritty. like diamonds, fake ones are a little too perfect.

OBN loads of trash and would probably drive someone with a PI unit crazy, but I always find something good. Most of the time anyway. Been skunked more times than I want to admit, but a bad day detecting is better than hanging around the house with the blues. Hope to be at the river by 5:45 to 6:00 am at the latest and gone by 10:30-11:00 am tomorrow. Taking the mask and snorkel to work an area I haven't worked before. DD, I plan to get our local jeweler to check it out for me. After being in that river so long, I don't think I want it on my teeth. I could wash it good, but would rather a pro look at it.
