Hey txbluesman, that's a great find. Brings back another part of history many have forgotten. :clapping:

As soon as I get that new E-Trac in, I can only hope to learn how to use it to make my own finds when I get out to :detecting:

I usually go have coffee in the mornings on weekends somewhere between 7 and 830 till about 9 or 930. I'll give you a call between those hours. I'll check my email in the morning.
I'll have the Bounty Hunter with me, curious to see if it will find anything.
 
Great find and history lesson! I found two "Shells Mr. President Coin Game" tokens (196:geek: and a "Mermaid Sponge Co." (19??) spinner at one of my sights, all on the same day.. HH Joe

Folks one thing is for certain, the E-Trac is cool. Watched txbluesman dig a nice wheat this morning. My new detector will be here on Tuesday according to UPS....can't wait. E-Trac I'm wait'n fer ya.

And my little BH just does not have the depth I need to find the wheats, merc's and other silver I would like to find. Butttttttttttttttttttttt...with some time learning my new machine and some nice weather....watch out...I'll give it the old college try.

share your find rather than just posting the picture. The history with it was remarkable. A 'little' before my time but I remember Captain Midnight well....Jim
