I Found This Harmonica At a Cellar Hole And Have Never Seen One So Intact

The Other Finds Were FOund By Brian And I And Are At A Site Where There Were American Indians Documented From The 1500's And The Silver tube Is From That Time And Had Been Worn As a Hair Ornament By Mostly The Men

The Musket Balls And Buttons Speak For Themselves And The Coins Are A Vermont Large Cent, Two Other Coins From The 1700

The Items With A Hole Were Worn On A Cord Around The Neck And Probably Made Out Of Musket Balls Since They Are Lead And The Round Coin Like Object Is Also Lead And Used To Play Games

The Silver Earring Is Colonial And The Iron Decorative Piece Was From A Stove And I Found It At The Cellar Hole And Broke It as I Cleaned It

Winter is Almost Over And Our Ground Is Starting To Thaw And I Hope We will Be Able To Post Goods Finds For your View

I Know

And It Has Been A Long Winter..Almost Seven Months

We did get to South Carolina on a Paid Hunt but not much to speak of but I will post the two finds soon

It has been so long that I forgot how to upload pictures and had to ask my kids for help and that was a Mistake :(

I Will Be Around and Posting Again Since The Ground Is Now Thawing and It Is The Second Day Of Spring ( 27F Here)

Regards and HH

Wonderful finds Eva just fantastic! I have missed seeing your posts and look forward to more!

Seems like I remember you from the AT Pro forums when I first became a member. Used to enjoy your posts as well. That is a very nice assortment of things. I like them all.

Never had An At Pro but I Had Friends Who Did And Swore By Them :)

I am Happy to be back and it was this Horrible Long Cold Winter That Did Me In

Looking Forward To Seeing and Finding the Finds and posting on the Forum

Congatulations Eva. Good to see ya posting again! I'm looking forward to seeing what you and Brian pull out this year. Thanks for the pictures and the history of your finds.

Very nice collection of finds. I would hunt that site "to death" and hopefully pull more goodies from it.

I'm 98% sure... any chance you can post me better picture front and back... also the diameter in MM and weight in grams would help to make 100% sure...

The Rosa Americana coins have KG I on the front and a Tudor Rose on the back... Some have a crown on the Rose and some don't...

The attached picture is a Crowned Rose...

That's King George I of England on the front of this coin, and Rosa Americana, Utile Dulci (American rose, useful and pleasant) on the back.

These are coins that were issued as early coinage to be used in the American colonies, but the colonists did not like them and refused to use them. Today they are sought as collectibles and come under the broad heading of 'US Colonial Coins' which are usually quite expensive when in decent condition.

The Rosa coinage was issued in three denominations: half penny, penny, and twopence. A crowned rose appears on some of the designs.

HALF PENNY (22 mm diameter)
PENNY (26 mm diameter)
TWOPENCE (33 mm diameter
