And by the way, if they did roll out new sod to cover the bare spot then why use such ratty/weed infested grass? Unless they got the sod for free from another site or something? This is still bugging the heck out of me. Either I dreamed that house being torn down, or I did see it torn down and I dreamed going over there and not seeing a bare spot.

I've never had a dream and thought it was real, but I guess there is always a first for everything.

It's bugging me so bad I think I might drive back over there today and take a good look again. Just hope it's not all in black and white and I hear the Twilight Zone music in the background.
I'm just glad you admitted to the same experience, because I hesitated to post that story and be laughed at. But hey, the truth is the truth. I'm not one of those guys who believe in ghosts or ESP (or at least haven't seen any proof that would convince me otherwise). Bigfoot in the Pacific Northwest? Now that's a different story. That 1967 Paterson video just looks to real with the muscles moving and all that under the skin.

Especially when you see modern supposed videos and the costumes look clownish they are so obviously fake.
Which reminds me, we just had this discussion in the general interests forum and I posted a few high tech video enhancements of that film by a special effects expert. He shows you some enhancements of that film that will blow your mind. Even a better view of the muscles moving on it's back and butt and such. He said in his opinion there is no way that was a costume, especially with 1967 technology. That film is the only reason why I *think* there might be a real animal living where it was taken in that vast pacific northwest moutain ranges that span from California all the way up into Canada. They say small planes crash in those wilds every year that are never seen again because it's so remote. These stories about it being in other states? Not enough land to hide them, so no way IMO.
Check out the links in that thread about "Strange Early Morning ecounters" for those videos, and somebody posted the thread originaly about a wierd ghostly experience he had while metal detecting and others pitched in some strange stories too. Good read...
