The Problem With To Much Volume, Why Not A Inline Volume Control?

Okay, I don't own a Tesoro, although some time in the future I would like to get a "V" until then I do drop buy here and read some post.
Anyway, seems there is a problem with Tesoro users and to MUCH volume. Unless I'm missing something why not use a added "Inline Volume Control" They plug right in.
Now, doing a quick search for a picture its looks like most out there are 1/8" pin but I'm sure one could be found that's 1/4" or just rewire the 1/8"
No, it would not amplify but it would provide a max volume control.

Have not seen that one,yes i use one,I even plug the ear buds in to them, even hunt the woods with ear buds.
In this heat I'm switching back to earbuds!
Do a search on ebay for "inline headphone volume control" you'll find it in the list along with some headphone with volume controls.

I've been testing out some earbuds and in my 8" deep test garden I can here the target response as well as I can with my $130.00 full ear covered headphones. So, I'm still not sold on those high dollar headphones being that much greater. Now I do know one thing in areas with a LOT of ambient noise the high end headphones really help block out the noise.

Mark, the fundamental difference is outside noise. The high end EP's seal out the noise giving you a quiet environment to hear the subtle sounds.
I use earbuds also. Keep the impedance at 32 Ohms or higher. Tesoro used to have that listed as the lowest impedance range of their detectors but I can't find it on the site.
Most earbuds are 16 Ohm.

Users have a hard time with most high end headphones, because the volume will not turn down in one ear of phones, such as killer bees, sunray, detpro etc...
Even if the headphones have a volume control for each ear?
My Sunray Golds have dual volume controls.

have and do use inline volume control but its a real pain in the arse tangles and gets hung up in bush ok if you mainly hunt parks , taping over speakers inline volume control ect all this crap is just because they dont build onboard volume ....I have an xterra and even though I want and would prefer to swing my tesoro more than the xterra the oppisite is true and my tesoros are gathering dust all because the xterra has a volume control it is 100% user friendly Tesoros are not

If you do put them on and tune as normal, cut volume all the way down on phones both sides, and wave a quarter close to coil, you will notice it to be loud in one ear.

My brother has a Tejon and a set of Gray Ghost, I'll ask him if he's having the volume problem.
