The prefect waterproof chest mounted carry bag for the Sov GT

Hi all i did some searching for a carry bag for my GT and i found this Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack it is prefect the fit is just right for the control box for my Sov GT in the main compartment , best of all it is waterproof !! water just roles off the material and there is plenty of other zip pockets for a extra battery a water jug anything you need in those huge fields or woods even on the beaches instead of walking back to your truck or car if you need something , it can sit in the front of your chest or hip mounted they go for about 59.00 to 79.00 depending on model there is a link in the video for the company i ordered mine , also each model gives you the dimensions for internal and external size the model shown is prefect for the GT and they are all light weight , you might have to cut a very small hole at the bottom of the bag for your coil wire . There is a lot of video,s on You Tube about the Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack,s , also it comes with a adjustable waist strap beside the shoulder strap . I think i will enjoy this and not worry about rain mud dirt getting at the control box .The waterproof mods i seen done here by members are fantastic this is a lot easier lol . No the case is not submersable but it is 100% waterproof material water just rolls off the outside pockets it will keep the GT control box very dry even if i get caught in pouring rain storm . Jim

Nice setup. A tip for people wanting to make something waterproof- They sell a spray can of stuff called I think "Camp Dry" in the camping section of most department stores or perhaps in the boots section. It will pretty much waterproof anything- boots, tents, cardboard (I've done that for various reasons so boxes of camping gear don't fall apart on me if they get wet), and so on. Water will sheet right off anything you've sprayed with this stuff. I use it on my leather boots and so long as the tounge of the boot is connected to the top/sides of the boot (some are built this way) you can literally step into water all the way up to near the top of the boot and not even get a wet foot. Works great for that.
