The perfect Omelet by General Ray and it works folks :thumbup: ... :cam:

If you love Omelets like I do but have a hard time making the perfect Omelet then this is your lucky day, I will show you how you can boil the perfect Omelet right in your kitchen, thats right, boil a perfect Omelet :cool:

Most folks have a hard time making a Omelet in a frying pan, it's a lot of work and fuss and most of the time only half of the Omelet is cooked or it is to runny and the out side is burnt so they give up and go out to a restaurant to enjoy a great Omelet at a great price also :lol: .

Well you don't have to any more, follow me here Sunny and Bobbie ;) you can make not only one Omelet but as many as you want at the same time and all you need is enough pots and boiling water :thumbup:

Here is how you do it, first get all the goodies together, last night I decided on a large Omelete for dinner ......

I cracked the eggs into a large bowl and tossed the shells, then added all the other goodies into the bowl that you see in the first picture, whipped it up with a wooden spoon then pour the contents of the bowl into a large Ziploc freezer bag!

Then I laid that Ziplock bag on it's side and pushed all of the air out of the bag then sealed it, closing the bag with only my goodies in it and air tight and not allowing any water to get in, pretty simple to do. Then I took this bag and droped it into a already boiling pot of water like this ......

Leave this beg in the boiling water for at least 15 minutes then pull it out, it should look like this :clapping: .

Then open the Ziploc beg and let the Omelet roll unto your plate, folks, thats a big time Omelet, see how round and fat it is, you can't order a Omelet that tasty anywhere other then General Ray's house and that my friends is a fact!

That Omelet is 9 inches long, 2 and a half inches high and 4 inches wide with Real Wisconsin 4 year old Sharp Cheddar Cheese plus all the other goodies but most of all it was boiled, how many of you good folks knew you could boil a Omelet :razz:, and to think you folks thought that all I was good at was eating, well I just happen to be a pretty damm good cook also, nobody can touch my Omelet's, even the house of pancakes because I look out side of the box :thumbup:

cook, just don't do it much anymore! I love omelets, though and copied this for my cook book. I gather about two dozen eggs daily, so I am always looking for recipees that use eggs. I do a lot of quiche too! I will try this one tonight. Thanks for sharing! :)
 
he tried to make everyone think though! If he didn't pick on me, I would think he didn't love me anymore! Royal, I think WillyP REALLY loves you, the way he picks on you! :)
 
was the chief binder,i like cheese but not with eggs,i think i've eaten maybe two omelettes in my life,both at a restaurant.
 
Bobbie and would appreciate a simple recipe for those holiday get to gethers when you have a house full of guest and no help in the kitchen ;)

The best thing about making a omelet this way Sunny is that you can make more than one at a time, all you need is the bags and boiling water, you'll spend a lot less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying yourself and company :thumbup:
