The origin of "Fuddle Duddle" in Canada....

I'm not a stamp collector but know the basics of what happened. In 1978 our Liberal Prime minister,Pierre Elliot Trudeau was speaking in the House of Commons.

He was in a heated debate and uttered the "f" word.Later he was asked about it,he said he said only "Fuddle Duddle".So any time you hear fuddle duddle it means a 4 letter word :). Well the point of this post is that a Montreal printer had purchased one hundred sheets of once stamps. He overprinted them with fuddle duddle.

They circulated without any problems,Canada post frowned but allowed it...just a tid bit of Canadiana :)

Apparently these are collector's stamps and valuable.
