FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. -- A crew aboard a shrimping boat were rescued after a group of bull sharks rammed and bit the vessel until it eventually sank off the Florida coast, according to an Associated Press report.

Captain Roger Schmall said a group of sharks had been slamming into the Christy Nichole's hull for four days. But then a 14-foot bull shark broke the boat's tail shaft, leaving Schmall and his crew of two adrift about 100 miles off the coast.

Schmall radioed for help, and another vessel picked the crew up about two hours later.

.... a shrimp boat chugged up to my boat asking if we had any spare beer. Shrimpers go out for weeks at a time and no alcohol is allowed on board.

We ended up trading a six pack of beer for a huge cooler of fresh shrimp. Gave most of it to my neighbors since it would be impossible for anyone other than Elson's family to eat that much shrimp.

just took a big bloody bite out of my a*s. They went back five years and made us pay an "Intangible property tax" that we and a lot of other KY. folks hadn't been paying. Ooooouch I didn't even no they had such a tax, and I have lived here over 50 years. I should have known, this stinking state taxes EVERYTHING!!!
