The one you would pick?

[size=large]have to go with the Classic 5-ID. I detest the headphone jack location on the Prizm series, plus the Classic has an easily accessed GB trimmer, and it is tied to both operating modes, unlike the Prizm's.

Now, that said, if I figured the Prizm 5 was in my budget, I'd modify my budget a little and get the Matrix M6 in a heartbeat!

Superior performance, true fast auto-tracking GB circuitry, full-range accept variable discrimination, more informative visual TID info, better depth, and without question, a more versatile search coil selection, both factory and aftermarket coils.

Ditto what Monte said.

I've just bought an M6 and it has now become my firm favourite.....a simple to operate machine with top class performance.....it would be worth spending the extra money and getting this machine instead.

Looks alot like the MXT to me but without the gold prospecting feature. Any other difference that sets this machine off from the MXT?

[size=large]The M6 and MXT share the same basic circuitry, but when they made the M6, they did make a few changes.
