The On-Off switch problem

have a competition machine with "changing knobs during hunts" and it was an easy fix with an O ring. We have a company local that specializes in such items. Take your machine with you for sizing. O rings can be stretched almost double, making installation a little awkward. You want a snug fit. Good luck.

but instead of pushing the knob all the way through the hole, just push it in partway. You can still turn it by hand but it will no longer move accidently when you bump it against your hip. I used to always turn volumne down or even off accidently and was constantly having to check it before I put the cover on. Now I no longer have any problems with it. It stays put.

I think putting orings under the knobs stresses the pot and eventually causes stem wobble.

Since I added the covers, the knob behaves itself! I did like he did and made sure the hole for the on/off volume knob stayed on the knob itself...not behind it.
