The old original 8" Seasearch coil

Doe's anyone have the wiring diagram on how to wire the old 8" seasearch coil. I have the coil and the 6 pin connector, I just need to know what wire goes where. I want to try this coil on the Elite. Thanks in advance. Also doe's anyone know how this coil is , I have the tornado 10", and the 15" watt. But someone told me this coil is deep also.

What are the wire colors on this old coil? The old BBS coils had 5 wires, with the number of wires and colors I think we can give you a pin number to match your wire with that information. Thanks Ron

Here you go, this should work, copied it from a post I made about a month ago:

Put a connector on an older BBS800 coil off an excal:

pin # wire color

1 red

2 black

3 green or white

4 orange or yellow

5 none

6 blue

the bbs800 only has 4 wires.

The seasearch coil is heavy for its size. Some used to cut the fins off(minelab put those on to keep the excal upright if I remember right) to help with the weight. Some of them used to blister up also. Good coil performance wise, on par with the coinsearch but waterproof. original stock coil on the excal but also was made as an accessory for the Sov. Good luck with it.
