The old mansion in the woods... part 2

GRAY GHOST

New member
hello everyone, i had a short while today to revisit the old mansion in the woods near my house. rain interfered, so it limited my finds. but hey, still had a good day! as i mentioned before, the area is very trashy, and i dont care if i never see another ball or mason jar lid! pulled out dozens. if it sounds good, were gonna dig it, right? this is my second well worn large cent in a week, cant make out a date yet, but its still a large cent! also found a shankless flat button, theres a backmark, but cant make it out yet either, a really cool threaded hollow brass screw top, an old watch bezel, and what appears to be a watchband buckle that was found far away from the bezel. im also the proud new owner of a huge, solid iron meathook too! its too big to put on the scanner though. and a whole lot of other various small iron pieces. i did well until the rain hit, and it came down in buckets. maybe i can sweettalk my wonderful wife into allowing me a metal detecting visa for sunday! thanks for reading, and hh,
