The old detectors hunt

Larry (IL)

Well-known member
That was fun finding silver dimes with vintage metal detectors that are approaching 50 years old. Boy, detectorists must have been really short back then.....

If we had more vintage detector owners, that is something we might expand on next year............ what do you think?

Had a blast using the old detector again after all the years of having it put in the attic but I have a question. Shouldn't the title of this post be The Old Detectorists With Old Detectors Hunt?

Thanks for the loaner Larry...maybe next year I'll remember to bring mine. Great hunt!!

I thought it was a great "flashback" watching you guys using those old machines. Boy, technology sure has changed in the past 40 years. HH, Nancy
