Today i scanned a bunch of old photos from the area my base camp for guiding was in, circa 1970's/80's, cannot make them large enough to be real nice....
There are some more stories that i like and some more pics that i may post when the MANY anonymous viewers start to thank the story writers!:biggrin:
This looks down on Abraham lake, the dam on the North Saskatchewan river not far from where Banff and Jasper national parks come together.

i miss them out here for sure. Saw a fine display of them over Denman Island last fall about this time on a clear night at about 1 am. First time i ever saw them here.
 
late november hunting. Spring bear hunts april-may. The rest of the time i had my "easy" job/business :biggrin:
 
even down ended "up":biggrin:
Really nice when there was a horse trail most of the way. Rest of the time we burned off the lard and regretted our misspent youth:blink:
 
that was the farthest south I have seen them. I saw them on a lonely lake in Northern Ontario years ago. They are Mystic
 
We are preparing for a snowstorm today. Hope that you did not get blown over to Vancouver by the winds. :)

Thanks Mike, those were good 35mil pics at one time. Tucked away in an album, but got damp. :(
