The old days.......sigh...........

Today i scanned a bunch of old photos from the area my base camp for guiding was in, circa 1970's/80's, cannot make them large enough to be real nice....
There are some more stories that i like and some more pics that i may post when the MANY anonymous viewers start to thank the story writers!
This looks down on Abraham lake, the dam on the North Saskatchewan river not far from where Banff and Jasper national parks come together.

i miss them out here for sure. Saw a fine display of them over Denman Island last fall about this time on a clear night at about 1 am. First time i ever saw them here.

that was the farthest south I have seen them. I saw them on a lonely lake in Northern Ontario years ago. They are Mystic
