The ol' geezer kicks some butt!!

Was doing some pretty intense detecting for the past couple of weeks using both the Coinstrike and my Challenger X-100. Well, the upshot of it all is that the X-100 kicked Coinstrike butt all over the trashy areas. In sharp mode I could go sooooo slooowwwlly and with such good seperation that I was pulling goodies out of areas I'd gone over a number of times with the Cs. I will admit, the Coinstrike is one of the deepest detectors that I've ever used, but has a real problem with bottle caps and doesn't like our new Canadian money. Anyway, you can figure out which detector is going up on the classifieds next! ..Willy.

Get a Gold Scanner Pro and check it out...

.. I find that, weight aside, there are more advantages to the X-100. These would be: TR mode, tone adjust, variable notch, Dual sensitivity controls (disc. and global), multi-tone ID, switchable (2-4) ground filters.[attachment 44435 CIMG1856.JPG] Now tell me, isn't this a brute of a detector? I can smell the fear when I show up with this baby! ...Willy.

Balanced to Perfection!
I still have to replace the Phillip's screw with thumb screws
when I want to use it as a regular Hip-mount....The extra Wire for Hip-Mounting tucks neatly underneath the detector in the u channel, secured by Velcro.

for the two smallest coils in the photo below. They will make your
X-100 even More Potent than it already is in Trashy Area's...The small coil is a 3-1/2 the other is a 6" Coil..they are marked with an S for scanner between the coil ears but will work on the X-100 also because both the scanner series and the X-100 are 13.77 frequency.

There ya go! These oldies have gotta be massive chick magnets.. after all everyone's heard the ol' saying 'The bigger the detector, the bigger...'. ..Willy.

Yup, but they aren't too likely to show up, at a reasonable price, on the forums when I'm around. Would also like to pick up the elliptical DD coil for it. Too bad the Magnum VLF/TR coils won't work; I know where I can get a few. ..Willy.

I know Compass has a Round 8" DD coil as I have one,but I never heard of an elliptical DD for the 13.77 frequency.
