The nicest silver ring I have found so far...

...till I got a hold of it.

I was trying to straighten it out on my mandrel and tapped the beautiful stone with the wrong side of my hammer...the hard plastic side instead of the soft rubber side.
My wife is not going to like this, she for sure would have stolen this one from me.

Still a beautiful silver ring, I will order the correct leather hammer from Amazon so this won't happen again.

aw , what a booboo. Thats a pretty stone. Looks like a Navaho piece that I found..

A good jewely repair person could fix that. I have made big booboo before. I use a bone handle for my ring work. I also have a broken deer antler that works very good. Good luck. That is a beautiful ring....KEN... IND.

That is a horse of a silver ring

accidents happen to us all.

Get her fixed shes worth it.

Nice ring! I showed my wife the pic and she said it was exactly her style. So sorry for your accidental crack - ouch....
Still a big congrats!

Oh heck, just quirt a little super glue on it and call it a day! Great old find there man!:clapping:
Mud

It's called "patina". Or, "character". :|

That's a great looking silver ring, I'd do like Ken suggested and take it to a jeweler and let him work some magic on it, great find, thanks for sharing.
