The newest " The Realistic Urban Treasure Hunter" or "TRUTH" as it shall be named.........

I may switch to staying close to home for a change of pace. After being pretty much skunked with one Indian and one silver ring for the year so far and many trips to cellar holes with only a tick or two to show for the sweat and blood I decided I had to ask people in the neighbourhood if I could dig up there yard so I could get a fix, er, I mean dig some cool relics that I would give them the "pic-o-the litter" as I call it. Another reason
is the price of "gas" the way it is and all my extra money going into yet another career change for me as some of you know I am going to HVAC technician school at night. And that is forty miles each way.
So here goes... I was walking the dog "Oliver" around the hood and I knew today was the day that I was going to ask one of my extended neighbors. They turned out to be real nice and she was interested cause she had dug up some porcelain dolls and broken pottery while plating flowers etc. I dug a lot of shallow clad right next to the shallow flat buttons. Now this house was 1880 and mine is 1890. I gave her a clay marble and she liked the lead toy soldier that are not in the pics.[attachment 29023 060906.jpg]My first silver coin of 2006.

They also told me to come back anytime and that it would be ok to hunt the neighbors yard who live out of state.
Any ideas what the iron thing on the hadle is??
