It's supposed to address the nickel issue and the bottle cap issue. Since Tuesday, all units shipped from First Texas have the revised software. And, yes, some dealers are sending prior ones back for the modification. When you call your dealer, just ask him.

I don't think it's all that unusual for manufacturers to listen to feedback from their users and make good changes. This happens to just about all new units.
 
But I am always a little nervous about buying a new machine when they first come out.The first explorers all fell apart,the first 300 X5s were sent back for mods.The Edge's had display problems,etc.It seems that after 3 or 400 of the new machines hit the streets and are used for a few weeks that any apparent problems they have will surface through most of them.Like the T2 and the bottle caps.Nickels faling into a high tone wouldn't bother me,that's more of a personal preference thing.Maybe but a control function on it to make that optional.Dave
