The New Minelab

I was reading a post April 1st about a new minelab coming out and forgot about it being april fools day... I called minelab left a message and I was called back today by mariah i think was her name anyhow I stopped her mid sentance and said yeah i found out it was an april fools joke explaining i forgot about it being april 1st. she says well actually we do have a new detector comming out in 2-3 months, hold on a minut and i will give you the name of a dealer enar you and you can contact them about the specs of the detector price range ect... I have not called the dealer yet but has anyone else heard of this new detector?

no not another april fools. I called minelab forgetting it was april fools they called me back on april 2nd and then told me they DO have something comming out in 2-3 months. I called the dealer they gave me the number for but it is going to voice mail so i just left a msg hopefully they call back soon...

I just spoke with one of my contacts at Minelab America's and was told they do not have anyone there named Mariah. In addition, they are NOT aware of any new detector. If you have a few minutes, send me a PM with the phone number you called on April 1st for MInelab, as well as the number "Mariah" gave you for the dealer. And if you have Caller ID, could you check the number of the person who called you back on the 2nd, and provide it to me as well. Thanks. HH Randy

Not sure her name was mariah I think thats what she said. No this was not a joke they really did call me back but anyhow I will PM you Digger with the number that they gave me but I have called it about 10 times now and it goes straight to automated answering machine. I even left a msg and they did not call me back. I contacted a couple other dealers they said they are usually the last to know, but like I say no I was not joking about it.
