THE NEW MAKRO KRUZER SERIES!

Wow !! three waterproof machines, didn't see that coming. That multi freq waterproof one will sure be nice to add to the arsenal. Announced end of Jan and will be able to order in Feb. Thank you, Nokta/Makro for not playing the silly ML game.

It's the sound of the competition packing their bags and heading home.

I’m glad they did away with that battery box order the arm rest, and did a stand instead.Thats a really nice machine,it may balance better without the battery box,not sure.Great timing for a release tho,a lot of per orders might get cancelled on other units.

Can the "Multi Kruzer" be run in true multi frequency----or is it selectable single frequency?

some preorders might have been cancelled on other machines if the 61khz was part of the multi one...that could be a draw back..then it would be a truly multi machine that would fine the gold also...but they didn't

Jaw on the freaking floor! This is exactly what I meant in my Equinox conspiracy thread and it's a good thing for us consumers. Will this take away sales of the Nox? It's possible. VERY possible. Looks like a quality product! Minelab was just hit with a Kruzer missile LOL

"Obsolete? Let's get real!" and "No hype. No waiting"

Marketing: I think it's great press to challenge the competition. This speaks volumes on the observations of other competitors.
.
You can only dangle a carrot for so long before the carrot becomes unappealing. Step up your game other manufacturers, you are falling by the way side!

I have been saving my park finds for 8 months now. Got over three hundred bucks right now. After seeing this, I am glad I didn't put some more with what I have saved and pre-order that other detector that is going to be released sooner or later. Now, we are all wondering if the other manufacturers are going to announce new detectors as well! What are us guys going to do and how long do we wait before we decide to bite the bullet and order whichever one we think will be the best for our way of detecting??? Hummmm!! It doesn't really make any difference for me, as soon as I were to place an order for the newest and the best, there undoubtedly would be something better to come along. It is just my luck! In truth and no jesting, it does look like we will be the good for us that get out and enjoy the sport! I just can't wait to see the reports and reviews!!

EUD can you say "Boost mode"

I don't believe the EUD feature is the same as boost mode, the DEEP mode on the Racer, Impact are similar to the FTP boost mode, and the Kruzer has DEEP mode as well as this new EUD function. I think yes their both going for the extra depth, but the EUD mode is doing something somewhat different.

Meant to say "Beast" mode as it gets noticeably more depth. But do agree the Deep mode on the Nokta/Makro are their own style of Boost mode

Looking at the blue line headphones with an open USB socket and soft ear pads, I would say no.
Underwater hunting is usually at a slower pace so it's likely one will have to use the vibration mode, just like using some pin-pointers under water.
