The New Garrett VORTEX VX9 Just Got A Whole Lot Better!

Come on with it Garrett! I never doubted you for a minute! Garrett resurrected the V3i! Metal detectors have moved into the software world.
With gold approximately ($2,900) two thousand and nine hundred dollars an ounce Garrett Vortex VX9 rocks!
And it just keeps on getting better!

I believe that is what Garrett has done. Built the V3i waterproof and 1/3 the original weight. A longer lasting battery. They are now Garretts' after acquiring the White's line.
Garretts' has in my opinion got the copyright on the Whites' line?
Who would have the copyright on Whites'? Garrett?
With software Garrett is beginning to fill the screen in like Whites' V3i?
It is close to being the same thing the V3i is with 'waterproof' 1/3 the original weight, and with a lithion ion battery a much longer lasting battery.
I believe they have resurrected the V3i? Have you seen others in trouble for copyright infringement? Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer and do not proclaim to be. Whites should have the copyright? Thus I believe they resurrected the V3i? I believe Garrett is resurrecting the Whites' line? A person can do a lot with software? There are a few things the Garrett Vortex VX9 does not have the V3i has. I believe they can add all of it with software. Maybe not! There are a lot of things the Vortex has that the V3i does not have.

The V3I had 3 simultaneous freqs the vx9 2..
The V3I’s screen showed what each freq was receiving. The vx9 has 1 normal ‘bar’ cut in half at the ferrous non ferrous and a probability bar.
The V3I had multiple choices of screen options and tons of adjustments.
There isn’t anything similar between those two detectors.

You are making these statements in the wrong place. I believe there are other companies that were quite attentive to the customers and acted promptly. And, I would add the V3i had numerous ways to adjust the machine to accommodate for different conditions of the soil. That is how other companies got high rated sales listening to the customers and responding. I have always thought White's and Garrett had as good of a reputation as the rest. For ($500.00) five hundred dollars I believe it is a wonderful machine? This spring with the price of gold I will purchase one. I have noticed that Garrett Vortex appears to be attentive and responsive? Many of us die hard V3i owners are well pleased with the waterproof, lighter weight, and the lithium-ion battery. But, keep on complaining I would suggest not only here but on some of the manufacturer's videos? Only the squeaky wheel gets grease!

You are correct. Why did they not copy the V3i using modern Tech?

"Garrett resurrected the V3i! Metal detectors"

Got Mixed Mode ? ...the discriminating All Metal hybrid mode with Tone options, nope only White's. VX 9's "Zero" no thanks
VDI range of -95 through + 95...nope
True all metal threshold...nope
Tone options ? VCO ?
and more ...

Not time to trade up the AT Gold yet

Ok so does the new Vortex show more than one target under the coil like a ctx?

Garrett has done a wonderful job in resurrecting the V3i. Undisputedly, it is not a V3i? Garrett bought White's when they went out of business? Many V3i users including myself wanted a waterproof detector? Many wanted the V3i with less weight? Many wanted a longer lasting battery? It is a fact the metal detector world has moved in to the software world? One glaring fact the Vortex has a price approximately one third of the V3i? I believe software writers are very capable of including the issues the operator would like to have if presented in a meritorious statement. I have seen other manufacturers accommodate the operator? After all, why wouldn't they? I would like to have the pinpoint feature that is on the V3i added to the Vortex. What I have seen and the price of gold I will definitely buy one in the spring of the year!

What is the best $500.00 American made simultaneous multifrequency metal detector on the market that is water proof and has an indication it will do good in gold and the gold has just gone to approximately $2,000.00 dollars an ounce?
