The MXT has arrived

Got the MXT I bought from Folsom Don today. It is in great shape just like he said it was. I did not get home until dark so I have not had much of a chance to try it out. It has been dry around here (Missouri) and the ground is starting to get hard. Hopefully we get some rain soon and I can give it a good workout.

Be waiting to see your finds. Good luck with the MXT.

It is raining today so that should soften up the ground a little bit. Hopefully I can get out tomorrow for a few hours.

Be waiting to see your finds.

Looking forward to yours too with your new machine.....:)

I rcv'd my new MXT about two weeks ago, and it sure is a strange sounding beast compared to my old Tracker IV. I've enjoyed using it, but I did note that there is a new learning curve that I need to master (I was warned though). Has brought me luck though, I hit my first gold ring the other day (14K wedding band - trying to track the owner down now). I may have gotten lucky though as it wasn't really in the gold range. Was digging in a VB sand pit and I dig everything there. So if I could pass one piece of advice along that would be to test it out on a number of items to get a feel for the VDI readings.

Good Luck!
