The more I use the explorer, the more I like the flutey tones.

I was at a new campsite today, getting bored , as my kids ran off in all different directions. So I pulled the explorer out of the van, set the machine up for skimming surface clad, as the stoney soil and hard ground, along with the 90 plus temps removed my desire to dig as usual. Those flutey tones sure are easy on the ears. Pulled lots of clad out among the trash using the 8" coil. Swung slow , and the hi tones really stand out. Had about as much fun as you could have pullin clad! And no hearing fatigue. Sure beats a day of work, though. HH

I have to admit, I did not like my explorer when I first got it but now, I dont want to use anything else. Got an AT Pro and I personally dont like it. Dont get me wrong, its a good machine but I am spoiled with those Explorer tones. Even bought another explorer as well for a project of mine.
