The lone Indian

Went out for about an hour today.Hunted one house that looked so so. Hunted about 45 minutes and only had one signal that I deemed dig able. Turned out to be this nice Indian. I'm curious why some Indians come out of the ground pretty nice like this one and some are pretty corroded and not that good. Is it the minerals in the ground that adversely affect them?

honestly that is how it is, I think the nicer the indian is when it was lost the better it seems to hold up in the ground, or at least that has been my experience on ones I have found
