The Lobo

I am considering purchasing the Tesoro Lobo. I have the El Dorado and love it! I want to search for gold in the Sierra Foothills but haven't seen any info specifically on nugget detecting using the Lobo. Can anyone help, offer an opinion, suggest a website?
Thank you.

Hi Este, Yes the Lobo is a great gold instrument and I would very much recommend it. You see VLF detectors that are geared toward gold nugget detecting are much more sensitive to very small nuggets or even larger flakes than the P.I. instruments. And in reality most gold that is found by a detector is usually small with the exception of the occasional big nugget. I know you would enjoy the Lobo with the auto ground tracking. I can't believe how sensitive it is. Take a look around and research your options but I without a doubt will recommend the Lobo. God Bless ya Este CU later.

Thanks, guys, for the info. Now the big question: The guy wants $475 for the Lobo. It is supertrack and has been used maybe 5 times. What do you think?
Thank you.

If You take the time to learn it, You probably won't part with it for a long time. It can be a formidable coin killer as well as a great nugget shooter if You learn its language. I bought Mine when they first became available, and still have it. It uses the same coils as the Tejon, Vaquero, Cibola and Diablo Micro Max. The little Diablo Micro Max is also a great nugget hunter ( featherweight gold only unit.)
