The last day of cup match and a little more gold for BDA.:thumbdown::cool:

I decided to see what the revellers had left for me to find in the waters of Horseshoe Bay this AM. It was overcast with occassional light showers but no big deal when you're in the water and wet anyways. The beach was quiet when I arrived at 7:30 to catch low tide at 7:58.

I found Mark the Pirate already in the lane, digging away happily at targets. (I knew I shouldn't have had that 3rd cup of coffee:lmfao:) Mark stayed in the lane the whole time which I thought was odd because he's the only other pirate I know who works the mine and deeper, the way I do. (on exiting the beach I saw the rip tide sign was posted:razz:)

The sand has moved around a lot lately and I managed only a dozen targets over the course of an hour and a half. I managed to dig a very broken signal and retrieve a gold bracelet but it turned out to be gold-plated. (I really hate that cheap stuff):rage:

I did manage to pull out a small gold band that says 'cemco 1' on it and the Princess confirms that it is gold and probably 14k. (who needs a gold tester when you have a Princess):crylol:

I hope that all of those who attended Surf Church enjoyed the service like I did.

Cheers,

I'm over it now but I sure would like to score a thin gold chain or even a thin engagement ring with a hot rock attached.;)

Guess I'll just have to keep digging up the fat boys.

Cheers Mate,

BDA:cool:

It can and does happen, especially the insanely thin gold rings. Have signalled them deeply, with consistent regularity. The chains, well as you know, they are a rarity. GH
