The Infinium "WILL" Work On All Beaches......

I also love the infinium but buyers beware...This detector will not respond to nuggets of this size.[attachment 61808 th_gold_2.jpg]
I live in the north Georgia area where the first gold strike occurred in the US. This is just about all you will find here and the infinium will NOT detect it. I have four vials like this one and when combining them into one the infinium will still NOT detect them at all.
I purchased the detector because the adds stated it was for prospecting but Garrett uses this word too loosely. It should state that it will detect big nuggets but not small ones.
All I wanted this detector for was to search the creeks and rivers for traces of gold so I would know where to pan and dredge but the infinium LS is useless unless I get lucky(and around here that's REAL LUCKY) and find a large nugget.
Again, I do like the Infinium LS. It is a deep detector but it is not suited for prospecting in areas where the gold has been eroded to small nuggets.
I will get another "nugget shooter" and put this one in the closet until I get to go to the beach.
