One of the greatest thing about this hobby is researching and learning the history of those artifacts we rescue. More so with relics than coins and a reason I'm starting to become more of a relic hunter. Heres a button I found recently in the UK I've identified as a Kings Dragoon Guard, circa 1760's-1780's period.
This may have saw service at The Battle of Waterloo, too cool. Found in the UK.

Great button!.....I don't think I gut any regimentals this time around after getting 3 on "Greedy" land. Thanks for posting it.
 
A lot of guys just chuck 'em, not me. Theres a guy in the UK doing a book on Livery buttons, should be cool. Must be thousands.
