THE HIPSTICK A NEW INVENTION FOR DETECTORIST

Grubstake

Member
NVCHRIS {Chris Porter} has invented a new tool for detecting, its called the Hipstick, what it does is transfer the weight of the detector to your waist or hip, taking it off the arm, shoulder and back. It is a fiberglass rod, with a nylon strap at the top, with a D ring on one side of the strap, and a snap hook on the other. It has a plastic ball at the bottom of the rod, which fits into a ball jiont that goes on your belt, this results in no weight on your arm or shoulder, and transfers it to your waist or hip. It gives you much better coil control, and makes your detector feel like you don't even have it in your hand. Heres pictures of it in use and of the componets. Patend has been applied for. This HIPSTICK, will work with DOC's Swinging thinging harness very well, so it will work with any detector in conjunction with his harness. Grubstake

I will have him get in touch with you DOC, I think he sent one to ROB. I told him you might want one too!, So I will PM him on Robs forum and tell him. Thanks Grubstake
