one of my other hobbies is astrophotography.. 100 minutes exposure of the helix nebula taken with my atik 320e ccd camera and william optics flt98 telescope.

I must admit that I know nothing about Astrophotography and your Post and photo aroused my curiosity. As such, I did a Google search on Helix Nebula and found this most interesting. I am posting a link for others that might also be interested in this subject. Thanks for sharing with the Forum, and again, welcome to the forum. Kelley (Texas) :)

How cool!!!...Photos of space and its many wonders are so interesting to me,always love looking at the Hubble pics....what a great photo to look at and ponder...would like to see more...

I just looked at it again and wonder how difficult it was to take using a telescope and etc. I hope that he will post some more pictures in the future. Kelley (Texas) :)

thank you for the kind comments. as far as difficulty for my setup, it's kind of intimidating at first but becomes easier with time. I really didn't know what I was in for when I started out. I kept having to buy equipment, but was determined to make it work once I got started. Below is a picture of the scope/mount/cameras in action. I will be posting some more images. -Doug
