The hare and the nuclear powered tortoise - a silver skulls day

Back at the beach with the kids for 2.5 hours.
So, the idea today was to try and grid the area and move much, much slower than usual. They agreed, but within ten minutes they were racing off down the beach!
Anyway, I stuck to my 'system' and had a steady morning with three rings, a silver pendant (skulls), a silver earring (just below the chain), and around the equivalent of US$10 in coins. Now, this is an area I've gone over MANY times before, the main difference was I just slowed my swing right down and listened for the very faint signals too, most of the ones in the pic were just that - either deep or on their edges.
They found a few bits and pieces, plus one coin. Younger one was getting a bit cold (around 5C outside today) though so I suggested to go behind a wall and shelter from the wind for a while. Can you spot the two Ace 150's?
After that they were more interested in having lunch.
Interesting to watch their different characters come out when they detect. Elder one is like the 'hare' and younger one is the 'tortoise'......mmmmm.....more like a nuclear powered tortoise.
Younger one usually gets the results.

I'm having tough time figuring out who the kids are. Really enjoyed the post Ian! Nice finds too!

Wow, that skull necklace is fantastic, maybe it's what happened to the guy with nth nuclear ring...
I'd love to have found it.
Good going.
