The Greatest Treasure
God has given me great treasure - no part of it in gold,
But it will afford me pleasure through life and when I'm old.
The many beauties of earth - tall mountains, lakes and trees
None can assess their untold worth nor gold buy one fo these.
The skies of blue and flowers, too - God's awesome gifts to man;
The gentle breeze, the morning dew - all works of this great plan.
The air I breathe, the food I eat - water, my stream of life;
Friends I cherish, who can't be beat, beside me in good times and strife.
Sunshine's bright and moonlight's glow - such wondrous things to see
But the greatest wealth I'll ever know is God's undying love for me.
