The good and bad.....

Silver streak ended today but was a short day as I came upon a fellow detectorist not feeling good and sweating profusely being a longtime diabetic appeared to be a low sugar problem and a candy bar and some help got him home as the chocolate quickly brought him back to normal. Apparently he took too much insulin or ate too little or perhaps the hot day and exercise caused the problem. Been there done that and always carry sugar with me...
Didn't have much time and went back with little luck but on my final pass got a good signal and smiled ...Nah it was a 29 wheatie and yes the other guy had a 34 merc.in his pouch. Oh well time to start another streak...have to admit sure was a nice day to smell the roses....

[size=large]i for one thank you for being there for the guy. i know also what low sugars do to a person. i now carry diabetic sugar tablets with me everywhere i go. i also carry hard candy. much much faster than chocolate. we really need to watch ourselves and our sugar levels. ya don't find a Dan-Pa in every park.

Good job - I have some diabetics in my family and like Steve said, that can go downhill fast.
