[attachment 52658 idimages1044.jpg][attachment 52658 idimages1044.jpg][attachment 52659 idimages1043.jpg]The hot iron mineralised ground that had all VLF detectors constantly ground balancing and the operators digging most signals did not interfere with the Goldscan 5. The threshold was smooth and steady even using the 11" mono coil. Shallow iron signals were easily identifiable by the double tone sound (woo woo) . I dug 6 iron targets that fooled me.Most were large iron and large bent nails. The fields were loaded with nails from all the winter hut sites. After you have used the detector a short time you will be able to tell the difference between ferrous and non ferrous targets. Thanks to Mr. Bill at Surfscanners.

I got a perfect spot for it.....chomping at the bit to get some time in on it.
Glad to see it did so well for you.....that pile of relics just gives me more reason to use it for relics....well until i finally leave for good for Az. and it it will revert to a nugget machine.
