The Golden umax was popping the coins today!

I hit a park that I've been a lot before with my Atpro , but the golden umax was finding the coins that I missed before! I really slowed down my swing and was able to find over 2.00 in change, the overload would sound off on the bottle caps with the double beep and i didn't have a problem with them, I give it a A+, sorry I can't post pictures on my iPhone

The Golden became my favorite Tesoro.

Oddly, I have been told it is the model with the lowest sales figures.

WoW that is a shock, I wonder why, it's a great machine.

 The Golden uMax is my current #1 favorite also with the Compadre running a close second. Learn the machine and it is a fun unit to use!

No sir this post was a few days ago, but tomorrow and Sunday I will use the C&S coil , I like the coil it seems to pick up nickels very well and the can hear the chopped up sound of the Pulltabs vs 5 cents .

Congrats.... The Golden is one of my favorite detectors. How did you have it set up for your hunt? Thanks, Tony

Thanks Beale and Tony, i had my disc set at arrow and my notch dial at 2:00 , but I'm still learning with it, so far I like it!

Hank, Might fine, g. The Golden is my go to detector when I go hunting. Love it for coin shooting and it is easy to swing being lightweight. HH, Tony

I'm right there with ya, it's one heck of a machine for coins and jewelry, once people realize the potential it will fly off the shelf , and to think its there least popular one I have no clue! HH tigerhank68

I don't have a Clean Sweep coil for my Golden uMax, but I can see where that combination would be great.

My Golden uMax is a coin and gold/silver ring hound. I grab it for the really trashy areas when I think there might be a good chance at finding a lost ring.

The C&S is great addition to the GUmax, it takes a little to get use to and the PP is very easy to figure out, and the ground coverage it fantastic nothing better on the market for that very purpose .

It's a 3" by 18" Coil used for shallow jewelry and coins in the Tesoro brands only. HH tigerhank68
