I was fortunate enough to get this mercury dime today at the same spot I hunted yesterday. I also pulled two more wheats, 1956 and a 1910... I hope that means that a SLQ is in my future. I have yet to nail one of them. Thanks for looking, hopefully I can get another one tomorrow. BTW, look closely at the reverse side, there's a mint mark hiding there...not a rare date though.
 
Nice nice Merc. I love them.
I wish digging a few old coins actually was the harbinger of an SLQ.
In almost twenty years of detecting, and entire seasons dedicated to searching, I have yet to unearth one.
