First I found this long silver looking chain right next to a favorite basketball court.
Held my breath for a second but when I got it free I could see it wasn't silver.
At least it was not marked fake 925 like other chains I have found in the past.
Hate that!
A little bouncy signal but mostly in the low 50's on the F70 and sniper coil.
Then a while later near the end of my hunt I got another wonky signal that bounced a bit in the low 60's.
Thought it was gonna be some can slaw or a screw-on cap but it sure sounded nice so I dug it.
Up came this nice silver ring that was crushed in the middle into a sort of a figure 8 shape so I think that might have had something to do with the low numbers and bounce.
Out of the ground I ran the front face over my coil and a solid high tone stable 79 popped up on the screen so all is well.
A heart breaker and then redemption.
Some days are just like that, I guess.
The wife is no way a biker chick but it fits her and she thinks the ring is pretty so as of now it is hers.
Also, such is life.
