....than the detecting gods apparently! LOL! My Xterra is ready to go! I air tested it again with the 5x10 HF coil, played with a spacer on the mounting wingnut, did a couple tweaks on my homebuilt sandscoop (I call Ugly Betty), eyeballed my gold pans, took apart and reassembled my sluice...all with the extra hour of time I had last night before bedtime. Not any time for detecting but...WE LEAVE FOR COLORADO SOON! C'mon Thursday. :super:
 
Wow you sound ready to rip for sure. I would love to hunt for gold, but I am pretty sure ther isnt any here in upstate NY lol. I have been using a 5X10 HF coil but for picking coins from trash filled places around town. Does a great job seperating targets in the moderate ground I seem to live in. Well cant wait to see what ya find when you do get out again, HH L8R

I'll definitely keep y'all posted. One thing for sure-I'm looking forward to getting away from 100+ degree days!
