Banditicey has nicknamed this park the giving park.. I was told it was "hunted out" .both Eva and Brian have found many things here...
this is just what I have found since Feb. (I keep a detailed log book)

you found a 1997 SILVER EAGLE?????

Man I never heard of that.

Most I find in a public park are silver dimes and some wheats here and there.

Wow, I've seen a lot of banditicey's posts/finds. After seeing your list from the same park I'm beginning to think that perhaps I should name the park that I hunt "the Stingy park"...lol. HH

No. the Silver eagle was most likely dropped by a kid, if it were a MD club plant it would not have been just thrown in the rocky soil to get all scratched up...It was pretty scratched up. and none of the IH's or other silvers are "seeds" either...just a nice trashy old park.
we do not just find old coins, we have found some nice old tokens, and buttons too.
