The Garrett at Max is a great detector. I used to Garrett at Pro for the last year and have been detecting for years. The at max amazed me at the depth I was finding things. The fall backs of the machine were all improved with the Garrett at Max. I have done air tests and you can see them. This year I plan to use the at max for gold nuggets. These are my videos of the garrett at max. I think it speaks for itself
Let me know what you think?

Thanks for making a great video. That MAX should do fine looking for gold. I would consider using a smaller coil though. I knoe you would get crazy results on that gold ring. My tests showed comparatively the same results.

Ya my friends and I are surprised how well it does. I like to use the small coil for trashy areas. The big coil I use for some specific areas where I have pulled 1700's and 1800s coins out. Most of the time I like to use the coil that came with the detector.
