YES, WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME BUT NO ONE HAS REALLY DESCRIBED TO MY SATISFACTION OF HOW WE CAME ABOUT HAVING SUCH A GREAT TIME
NOW: CHRIS & I STAYED AT MIKE'S HOUSE.HE HAD BORROWED A TRAVEL TRAILER FOR US TO SLEEP IN..I OPENED THE TWO REAR WINDOWS AT NIGHT SO THE COOL NIGHT BREEZE COULD MOVE ACROSS MY BED..(i was wrapped up neck deep in a thick quilt).. ANYONE WHO COULD'NT SLEEP LIKE A BABY UNDER THESE CONDITIONS IS DEAD ALREADY..EVERY MORNING I WAS AWAKENED BY SONG BIRDS. I TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THIS QUIET COOL TIME TO PRAY AND LISTEN TO THE WORLD WAKING UP..
CHRIS & I WERE WELCOMED INTO MIKE'S FAMILY(thank you mike)..it was a pleasure to hear tamera tell the children about their chores.she is a loving mother who sees after her children.if any of you get a chance to be with the walker family you will not be disapointed..GOD LIVES AT MIKE'S HOUSE.
NO ONE HAS MENTIONED THE PARK WE HUNTED IN WAS SANDY UNDER THE GRASS..SURE MADE FOR EASY DIGGING.I DID'NT FIND ANY OLD COINS BUT NO ONE HAD ANY MORE FUN THAN I DID.JUST THINK ABOUT THIS- WE WERE ON A HILL WHERE COINS WERE DROPPED WITH DATES BACK IN THE LATE 1800'S- AT THE FOOT OF THE HILL WAS A MARINA FOR BOATS. TALK ABOUT DIVERSITY..
OK, NOW FOR JOE AND HIS SONG AT THE CHURCH: JOE EXPLANIED TO THE CONGREGATION HOW WE PRAY FOR EACH OTHER AND HOW HE HAD PRAYED OVER WHAT SONG HE SHOULD SING.THE NAME OF HIS SONG WAS "SOMEONE IS PRAYING FOR ME".. I RAISED MY HAND TO PRAISE GOD AND GIVE THANKS BUT THE HOLY SPIRIT CAME INTO THAT CHURCH AND ALL I COULD DO WAS WEEP TEARS OF JOY.AFTER JOE FINISHED HIS SONG IT TOOK A SECOND OR TWO FOR THE CONGREGATION TO REALIZE HE HAD FINISHED.THEN EVERYONE CLAPPED FOR HIM..JOE CAME OFF THE STAGE AND HUGGED MIKE'S NECK,THEN PETE'S NECK,THEN MINE..I TRULY BELIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS WITH US.IF I LIVE TO BE A 100yrs OLD I'LL NEVER FORGET JOE & THE EFFECT HIS SONG HAD ON SO MANY PEOPLE.GOD BLESS YOU JOE

I WILL TELL YOU MORE TOMORROW......GOD'S BLESSINGS TO ALL...HENRY

Well, I have to tell you Henry... When I saw you lift your hands in praise, it made me sing inside too :) Singing that song for all of you was the highlight of my visit. It was so nice to meet you and I pray we get the chance to do it again next year!

It really was a beautiful area. And you're right... that was the easiest digging next to digging at the beach. Like I told Pete, I may not have found anything old but I found the treasure of friends in Christ and that was priceless!

Joe

You are right Henry - a lot wasn't said. Even now as I recall the Sunday service tears again come to my eyes - it was that moving! Even if no one could have made it for the hunt I wish all could have made it for the Sunday service.

Henry you forgot to mention the night life around Mike's - the kitty cat with the black fur and white stripe(s). (We didn't actually see it but we sure could smell it.)

I am still amazed at how Mike is able to do so much for so many in the few short hours of a day and still be rareing to go the next morning and still be pumped up even when the sun is setting. His youngest daughter was so wonderful and a shock when she so politely aske me if Casey could play with her. Been a long time since I have seen a well mannered child - even at such a young age. You have a wonderful family Mike and Tammy - blessed of God it is.

Thanks Henry for your view and even your generousity on Sunday afternoon before we all parted ways. There were so many blessings that day from each one of us and to each of us that were able to attend. I've been to seeded club hunts and they just don't come close to what we experienced over this weekend.

I was just blessed while reading your post! You took a little harder look at the weekend then most. We were blessed in so many way I can't even count them. Thanks for being a part of my family, and for making the trip so far up here! :)
